


Nick Acosta is the Operations Manager of ACTA INVESTIGATIONS. Nick Acosta has more than 10 years of experience in law enforcement and private investigations. ACTA serves a client base that includes top executive of Fortune 500 companies, attorneys, businesses as well as high priority attorneys and law firms. ACTA specializes in civil and criminal investigations involving worker's compensation claims, personal injury, divorce, background investigations, due diligence, internal narcotics, internal theft, theft of proprietary information, copyright infringement, counterfeit products and asset locations for attorneys, corporations, RTC, FDIC, and security consultants.

Nick provides clients with exceptional customer service and serves as a liaison between the Local and Federal Authorities and the Private Sector of the Investigation industry in order to provide the client with the best service for their cases.
Nick Acosta has covered broad practices in the Investigations industry, beginning with a 4- year service in the United States Marine Corps as a Military Police Officer at MCB Camp Pendleton. During his service to our country he also held a position of leadership training recruits from the Police Academy as a Field Training Officer. To speak of his multi-tasking ability Nick Acosta additionally held a position with the Oceanside Police Department as a Patrol Officer. In this service Nick was able to not only provide a service to the country and family of fellow Marines within the base but to those of the city of Oceanside. Preceding an honorable discharge from the Marine Corps Nick began his career in the private sector of the Investigations industry. Nick started with an aspect of Pre-Employment Background checks in which he excelled through the corporate infrastructure within a minimal amount of time subsequently leading a team of approximately 16 employees. Nick was able to gain the knowledge of the complex practice of obtaining detailed criminal information through local, state and federal agencies but also through county courts and local channels. Nick has a vast amount of knowledge on the practices of criminal research and what information can be reported under the FCRA in regards to pre-employment. After learning the procedures of obtaining background information Nick continued his career within a Human Resources department of Adminstaff to understand the hiring standards of using this information in which had been provided by the pre-employment screening companies. Nick continued to be a liaison between small businesses and the companies in which provided background results. Nick was the Manager assigned to make the hiring decisions of all of his clients based on the information in which he was trained to obtain. The investigation industry provides information to a designated person(s) or business to which a legal responsibility is needed in order to protect a person, investment, business or self. Nick began the complex task of advancing his career by learning the Insurance part of investigations. He was employed as a surveillance investigator in which he was presented with the task of not only conducting mobile surveillance on a given individual over multiple days but as well as obtaining video documentation of that individual through the use of technological photographic equipment both equipped in his vehicle and on his person by way of covert video surveillance. Nick was able to master the art to which a lot of investigators in this industry have trouble accomplishing. Nick was able to see not only what field investigators are presented with on a daily basis but was able to gain the knowledge of how individuals react to situations that could hinder an investigation. In this understanding and experience was able to join ACTA INVESTIGATIONS to effective and accurately serve as an experienced Manager within this industry. Nick Acosta holds a position with ACTA INVESTIGATIONS that is complex, demands a vast amount of knowledge within the industry and is a direct representation of what ACTA INVESTIGATIONS provides to it’s clients.
